Russell Martin described the celebrations after Swansea City's 4-0 South Wales derby triumph over Cardiff City as the best moment of his managerial career to date.
The Swans produced a dominant display to thump the Bluebirds at Cardiff City Stadium courtesy of a Michael Obafemi brace along with goals with Ben Cabango and Hannes Wolf. It meant the Swans completed a first ever league double in the 110-year history of the fixture.
"I have not felt as emotional as this after a game, I am incredibly proud of the players and what they have done," he said. "It was a big build-up to the game, we were written off by a lot of people and to do that and show that courage is fantastic.
"They took the atmosphere out of the game with the way they controlled the game in that first 15 minutes, and everything we had worked on over the last two weeks was put into practice. They showed everything they can be, we had young men out there who showed they can grow in a tough situation.
"Cardiff had been in really good form under Steve [Morison] and we have come here and limited them and were a real threat. We were clinical, that is something we have not always been this season, but we really were here. We showed the team we can be and I hope it is a small reward to the supporters for the patience they have shown us.
"The away support when they've travelled everywhere in numbers has been incredible. Their appreciation of what we're trying to build and the patience they've shown.
"That's why I took a step back and wanted to have a chat with [Matt] Gilly and the backroom staff, it's about them really, the players and the backroom staff. It means so much to them.
"I'm so pleased for all of those people that are involved behind the scenes. To watch the backroom staff and the players enjoy that with the supporters was the best moment I've had as a manager I'd say."
Head coach Martin revealed his players were shown a touching video featuring clips from supporters and club staff prior to the game in the Welsh capital. And an inspired performance from the Swans ensured the 2,500-strong members of the Jack Army who packed out the away end were able to celebrate a truly historic outing.

"It means so much to everyone. We all watched the supporters leaving the stadium on the buses earlier, and we watched a video that had been put together by the analysts and the media team," revealed Martin. "It had messages from supporters and members of staff about what this meant to them, and I think once we had watched that we knew we had to come here and win."
Victory over the Bluebirds saw Swansea move five points clear of their rivals with eight matches left to play this season. Martin's men return to action against Millwall on Tuesday night. Kick-off is at 7:45pm.
