Russell Brand accuser went from ‘bright and bubbly’ to alcoholism, court told

A Russell Brand fan who was allegedly raped by the comedian went from being a “bright, bubbly and confident girl” to battling alcoholism and mental health struggles, a court has heard.

Brand, now 51, is accused of raping the woman after meeting her at one of his Hammersmith Apollo gigs in 2009.
