Rural police train force on Kaapa cases

KOCHI: Ernakulam Rural police on Thursday launched a training programme for police personnel on effective implementation of the Kerala Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act (Kaapa) and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Kaapa advisory board chairman Justice N Anilkumar inaugurated the programme.

The programme was organized as part of the Janamaithri safety project at the district headquarters of Ernakulam Rural police. Station house officers in the rural district and Janamaithri beat officers are attending the two-day programme.
