Rupert Murdoch has announced he is engaged again at 92 after he 'dreaded falling in love'. It comes less than a year after the billionaire media tycoon's divorce from Jerry Hall was finalised.
Melbourne-born Murdoch and his soon-to-be wife Ann Lesley Smith met just six months ago. He said he was nervous about getting down on one knee for the fifth time but had "personally selected" the Asscher-cut diamond solitaire ring.
Murdoch, who is estimated to be worth around $17 billion USD, said that he had "dreaded falling in love" but was adamant this would be his "last" relationship, the Mirror reports. Reflecting on the proposal and romance, he told the New York Post: "I knew this would be my last, it better be, I'm happy."
