Veteran British actor Rupert Everett has come to the defence of Philip Schofield following the former presenter’s affair scandal.
Schofield, 61, resigned from ITV’s This Morning show after admitting to an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger male employee, whom he first met during a school visit when the man in question was 15.
