Runners spotted at Glastonbury Festival for an early-morning jog on day two

Joggers awaking at Worthy Farm have been spotted enjoying some early-morning exercise. Glastonbury Festival enters its second day today (June 22) and while many were still recovering from the night before in their tents, plenty were out and about in their running gear.

While the music does not properly begin until Friday (June 23), many festival-goers still partied through the night after enjoying the welcome fireworks just before 11pm. The site was still quiet as daylight arrived and some fitness fanatics took the opportunity to most of the lack of crowds.

Some could be seen running alone while others were in pairs or small groups. One was spotted running past the iconic Pyramid Stage, with others pounding the trackways around the giant festival site.

There is also an organised run on site this morning, with 200 people expected to set off for a 5km fun run from the Greenpeace Field at 10am. Although some rain did fall at Worthy Farm on Wednesday, the site remains largely dry.

Temperatures are set to peak at around 24C today. Follow the latest updates on traffic, weather and what's happening at Worthy Farm on our live blog here.
