Making your professional debut is hugely nerve-wracking, let alone making it in a crunch knockout game. Well that is exactly what Sacha Mngomezulu did against Edinburgh, and simply couldn't contain his emotion as his team mates sang to him after the match.
The video was taken after DHL Stormers' 28-17 victory over Edinburgh in the United Rugby Championship quarter-final. Prior to the game, the Stormers' starting 12 Damian Willemse was ruled out through injury, meaning that Rikus Pretorius would take the starting position. Mngomezulu therefore took the spot on the bench.
Just four minutes into the match, Pretorius sustained an injury of his own, forcing him off the field. Step forward 20-year-old Mngomezulu to make his debut. A whopping 70 minute run out for the centre in a huge win to advance to the semi-finals of the URC, it was an incredible day for Sacha as he held his own in the midfield.

However, it's what happened in the changing rooms that has captured the hearts of viewers. The whole DHL Stormers team in the changing rooms start singing to Sacha, and it is heartwarming stuff.
Mngomezulu begins to cry and team mate Seabelo Senatla consoles him, giving him a brotherly embrace. Smiles flood the room as the other players appreciate just how much this meant to him. He composes himself before putting the thumbs up to his team mates and high fiving one the Stormers' staff.
The Stormers would go on to win their semi-final against Ulster and are set to take on the Bulls this weekend in the Grand Final for the inaugural URC Championship.
