Rudy's Pizza is bidding to open another restaurant in Manchester city centre.
The pizzeria, which last year was voted one of the best in Europe, has lodged a licensing application for the old Dawson's music shop on Portland Street.
If successful it would be Rudy's third restaurant in Manchester city centre, following the original branch in Ancoats and the second outpost on Peter Street.
After making a splash in Manchester the hugely popular pizza joint went on to open further restaurants in Liverpool, Leeds, London, Birmingham and Sale.
