RTE viewers were full of praise for 'humble' Joe Canning after his appearance on the Tommy Tiernan Show.
The Galway legend appeared on the popular chat show alongside his brother and retired hurler Ollie for a chat.
Speaking about their hurling career, Ollie said: "There were six boys in our family and there were lots of years where the oldest would beat up the next guy and he'd beat up the next guy and you'd learn to look after yourself really well.
"There was always rough and tumble with us growing up and I think we probably got hardened up around the farm at home and around the rough and tumble around the home".
And RTE viewers were full of praise for the pair.
