RTE star's eagle-eyed observation about Love Island contestant Gemma Owen's behaviour

Love Island viewers have labelled Gemma Owen "socially awkward" as she appears to avoid eye contact with others on the show.

Former show winner Amber Gill noticed the shy behaviour while RTE presenter Doireann Garrihy spotted that the daughter of Michael Owen rarely shares eye contact with her fellow islanders and her date Davide.

Doireann tweeted on Wednesday: "Observation: Gemma cannot make eye contact?! She looks out towards the cameras while talking to someone!"
