All five leaders of Operation Transformation lost a combined total of over almost eight stone on the show.
After eights weeks of mental and physical challenges, the leaders ended their weight loss journey on Wednesday night.
This year’s group was made up of Stephanie Bowden, Marie Clear, Thomas Hynes, Lorraine Dempsey and Andrea Daly.
And after eight weeks of mental, physical and emotional challenges, the group had their friends and families in the studio, and viewers at home in tears as they finished their journey with a celebration on the catwalk.
The episode kicked off with the final 5k run in the capital’s Phoenix Park on Saturday, which saw Ryan Tubridy take part in his first 5KM run.
Then the leaders turned their attention to the catwalk, where they had their final check-ins to see just how far they have come.
Speaking at the finale of the show, host Kathryn Thomas said: “That is it from us. A huge thank you to these five amazing humans who so bravely opened up their homes and their lives to us and to all of you at home who have started your own health and wealth stories. We literally couldn’t do any of this without you.
“The cameras must stop rolling tonight but for these guys, their journeys are only just beginning.
“They’ve shown us that transformation isn’t just for January, it is for a better, healthier life,” she added.
