RTE pundits were forced to brave the elements as umbrellas went rogue during TV coverage.
The national broadcaster was on hand to cover Waterford's FAI Cup semi final against Shelbourne at the Waterford Regional Sports Centre.
But the sunny south east did not live up to its name with stormy weather disrupting the punditry team.
And in the coverage, both Richie Sadlier and Alan Cawley found their umbrellas going rogue live on air.
Derry CIty booked their place in the FAI Cup final with a 2-1 victory over Treaty United.
Jamie McGonigle opened the scoring on the eight minute and Brandon Kavangh doubled the lead eight minutes later.
There was hope for Treaty with a 29th minute penalty but they fell just short of a miraculous final appearance.
