RTE Prime Time viewers praised Sarah McInerney following her interview with Leo Varadkar last night.
The Tanaiste was discussing concerns for the tech industry in Ireland after Stripe and Twitter laid off several staff and Meta is expected to announce major job losses today. Speaking on the show, Mr Varadkar said: "My thoughts are very much with people working in the wider tech sector.
"We're only a few weeks away from Christmas, I think there's no worse time of year for people to be worrying about their jobs. The Government will be there to help."

He added that the number of job losses were yet to be confirmed but said the tech industry had grown faster than most, the Irish Mirror reports. Ms McInerney didn't hold back from challenging him on those figures and statements made by Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe.
Viewers took to Twitter to praise Ms McInerney on her interviewing skills with one person saying: "Sarah McInerney is a top-notch presenter." Another Twitter user added: "Sarah McInerney doing a hell of a job exposing the weakness of Leo Varadkar’s Tax Broadening Answers."
A third person chimed in: "Leo will not be letting Sarah McInerney interview him when he turns Taoiseach."
