The Late Late Show hit back at a woman’s nasty comment on Twitter in one fell swoop after she slammed their country-music special as 'garbage.'
The disgruntled viewer criticised the show and said ‘to think we’re paying for this’ as well as asking, ‘do people really have the mentality for this?,’ in response to their latest announcement on Twitter.
She also claimed the show has ‘no class’ and ‘no style’ in her short online rant.

The show’s social media team posted to Twitter confirming: “The #LateLate Country Music Special is BACK & we have some room in our audience for YOU!
“To win tickets, tell us your favourite country singer on the Irish music scene today, and your favourite country karaoke song!
“Email us at latelateextra@rte.ie. Yee-haw!”
The woman responded by saying: “And to think we are paying for this garbage. #noclassnostyle #dopeoplereallyhavethementalityforthisdross”.
In response, the team behind the Late Late Show’s social media quipped back at the disapproving viewer and simply wrote: “#yessuetheydoasitisoneofthemostwatchedshowseveryyear”.
Each year the show attracts hundreds of thousands of viewers across the country and farther afield, proving to be one of the most popular shows in the Late Late season.
