Ahead of next week’s season finale, viewers took to Twitter to discuss this week’s instalment, all agreeing that they want more.
One fan tweeted: “Kin will go the same distance as Love/Hate. The increased budget this season has brought it to another level and it will only get better. Storyline and acting much better, roll on the season finale.”
“Wow... next week is the final part. I hope they come back with series 3 soon… Best series 2021 and 2023,” another wrote.
One more added: “Kin is utterly terrific. A gripping gangster tale that's The Soprano's meets Love/Hate with Peaky Blinders hints. Can't wait for more”.
With another chiming in with: “Another great episode of Kin can't wait for the finale now!”
It isn’t just Twitter fans that are raving about the show. Recently, RTÉ released official viewing figures for season two on the RTÉ Player, with the series generating over one million streams to date.
Dermot Horan, Director of Acquisitions and Co-Productions RTÉ, said, via Buzz: "From all the research we have done, we know that our viewers want the choice of when to watch their dramas.
"Kin proves this point, with phenomenal figures on RTÉ Player."
