A Dublin couple have made it to the finals of RTE's Home of the Year with their beautifully renovated terraced Dublin home.
Sarah Duggan and Ian McNamee were able to see the potential in this property when they purchased it. Having gutted everything out, reconfigured the stairs and raised the ceiling to allow light to flood in, the pair transformed this old gaff into a modern haven.
Sarah works in fashion, so it's natural that she might have an eye for great design. She decided that the house should have a minimalist look.

It is clear that her goal was achieved with judge Hugh Wallace hailing the bedroom as "very simple and elegant".
He said: "Great size main bedroom, considering the size of this house."
He also praised the use of linen on the blinds matched by the bed coverings.
Although Sarah and Ian's house was praised by judges Hugh Wallace, Sarah Cosgrove and Amanda Bone, they have some stiff competition from four other properties around the country.
Kate and Shane Byrne's 150-year-old farmhouse with modern extension in County Wicklow will be tough to beat as judges hailed it as charming.
There is also Sinead Murphy's stylish city home in Cork furnished with a mix of 70's, Scandi and art deco furnishings inspired by her travels in New York.
Meanwhile Martin and Saoirse O' Dwyer's renovated 1870’s cottage in County Sligo, with its unique mix of modern and vintage furnishings, had "just so much to take in" for the judges.
Also in tonight's final is Aoife and Gareth Tolerton with their modernist new build in County Down.
Michelle and Rob McNeil's renovated 1920s house in Belfast blends style and homely warmth.
Finally there is Tony McManus' new build in County Kerry which brings a sense of LA to the Irish west coast. The house was so impressive to the judges that Amanda even said that she was "so happy I could cry".
The Home of the Year final airs tonight (Tuesday, April 5) at 8.30pm on RTE.
