The Tommy Tiernan Show will end next Saturday, RTE has confirmed.
This season of the hit chat show will end after its 12 week run on Saturday, March 25, RTE confirmed to RSVP Live. Tiernan will be joined by a new line of guests before signing off after another busy series.
The hook of The Tommy Tiernan Show is that it is an improvised chat show and neither the host nor the viewers are told the identity of the guests in advance. In this season, Tommy chatted to Manchester United legend Roy Keane, Galway GAA icons Joe Canning and Ollie Canning, LGBT activist Rebecca De Havilland, former Meath star Colm O'Rourke and actress Denise Gough.

He also interviewed journalist, writer and podcaster Sophie White, snooker legend Ken Doherty, singer Damian Dempsey, presenter and comedian Dara Ó Briain and RTÉ football pundit Richie Sadlier.
His show will be replaced with the third series of Angela Scanlon's Ask Me Anything. The comedy chat show sees Angela get personal with the some of biggest stars of stand-up, TV and entertainment for another seven episodes. In previous seasons she has interviewed Tommy Bowe, Jedward, Amy Huberman, Richard Chambers, Gemma Collins, Sharon Corr, Daithi O'Se, Pippa O'Connor, Vogue Williams and Gareth Thomas.
Meanwhile, Tommy Tiernan is in the running to replace Ryan Tubridy as the presenter of The Late Late Show after he announced last week he was stepping down. Tommy can be backed at 16/1 with Ladbrokes. He is now 9/1 with Boylesports. Interestingly, the odds have also been slashed on Angela getting the top job, they are now 9/2, down from 33/1.
The Tommy Tiernan Show airs Saturday night at 21.30 on RTE One.
