RTC to run 500 Dussehra special buses from North Andhra Pradesh

VISAKHAPATNAM: The authorities of APS RTC will run around 500 special buses during this Dussehra festival from North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Passengers can travel with the regular ticket fare in these special buses.

The majority of special buses would be run from October 18 to October to October 24. The buses for long-distance places such as Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Amalapuram, Bhimavaram, and others, besides Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Icchapuram, Sompeta, Parvathipuram, Srikakulam, Palakonda, Rajam, Tirupati and other destinations would be run from October 18 to October 30.

The Visakhapatnam RTC Regional Manager A Appala Raju said that they will run 60 buses to Vijayawada, 37 buses to Hyderabad, 100 buses to Bobbili, Palasa, Palakonda, Sompeta, Parvathipuram, Srikakulam and other destinations. Twenty-five buses each to Kakinada and Rajahmundry would be run during the Dussehra festival. Likewise, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram district bus depots would also run hundreds of buses to Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Tirupati, and other destinations.

The public can reserve tickets through www.apsrtconline.in website or approach ATB agents of RTC. “We will enhance the number of buses depending on the rush of the passengers. If anyone reserves tickets for both sides of travel, they will get a 10% discount on ticket fare,” the RTC RM Appala Raju said.
