Rs 18,000 crore returned to banks from Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi & Mehul Choksi: Centre tells SC

NEW DELHI: The government on Wednesday informed the Supreme Court that Rs 18,000 crore have been returned to banks from Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi.

All three are declared as fugitive economic offenders (FEO) in India under the Fugitive Economic Offenders Act, which came into effect in August 2018.
