Former model Rozanna Purcell has admitted she "wasn't prepared" for a question she was asked on the Tommy Tiernan Show about an eating disorder she had.
Last Saturday, the Miss Universe contestant sat down with Tommy to have a very open conversation about the impact the eating disorder had on her physical and mental health.
The Tipperary native, who impressed fans after navigating the difficult line of questioning has since taken to Instagram to reveal that she wasn't expecting such a tough conversation.

"I was really, really nervous about doing this show, as I’ve gotten older I feel far more overwhelmed about doing interviews especially a big one like this, so I’ve avoided most for the past 2 years," she began.
The 32-year-old reflected on the format of the popular Saturday night talk show, admitting that she was aware it is all about a surprise guest and that the conversation can go in any way.
"I definitely wasn’t mentally prepared to speak about eating disorders so I hope I did okay, I know it can be a very triggering subject for so many," she said online.
The popular influencer said that she still gets overwhelmed sometimes trying to explain what it is like, adding that it "almost brings you back."
She thanked her fans for helping her choose what she was wearing on the night, as well as host Tommy and guest announcer Fred Cooke for having her on.
An outpouring of praise flooded Roz's response following the very raw and honest admission online.
Personal trainer on Instagram Siobhan O'Hagan described Roz as a "national treasure" following the interview last Saturday.
She said: "You did so well, even when the questioning was a little “difficult” to say the least!"
TV presenter Lucy Kennedy said: "Your sincerity always shines through" while another added: "I love how yourself you are. Inspiring for so many of us."
