Princess Anne proudly watched her first husband's daughter walk down the aisle to get married - on the arm of her ex Captain Mark Phillips.
Bride Stephanie, 24, tied the knot with William Hosier at a sun-drenched affair at St Mary The Virgin Church in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, on Saturday.
Any tension between the Princess Royal, 71, and her ex-husband Mark - who divorced the Queen’s daughter in 1992 - was not shown as they watched their young daughter say I do.
Stephanie is the daughter of Captain Phillips and his second wife Sandy Pflueger, who represented the US at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Also attending the wedding were her half-siblings Zara and Peter Phillips, and their partners Mike Tindall and Lindsay Wallace.
Zara came close to upstaging her half-sibling yesterday as she wore a stunning blue mini dress for the happy occasion.
The outfit was a Zimmermann design known as the Super Eight Embroidered Mini Dress in Cornflower Blue made in Broderie Anglaise
Zara paired the dress with a matching fascinator.
Like her mum and elder sister Zara, Stephanie is known as a keen event rider.
Stephanie’s mother, Sandy Pflueger, was married to Captain Phillips from 1997 until 2012 following his separation from Princess Anne.
As a youngster she went to £13,9000 a term Dean Close School in Cheltenham.
She later studied Business Management at the University of Worcester.
Stephanie also completed both the bronze and gold Duke of Edinburgh awards.
She and her new husband announced their engagement last year on Instagram with a series of sweet photos.
In one of them the couple were hugging and Stephanie had her hand on her fiance's chest, showing off her sapphire engagement ring.
She did not caption the pictures but followers soon realised what was going on.
One congratulated her saying: "Exciting news! Many congratulations to you and William.
Another added: "Congratulations, you both look great together."
Meanwhile palace aides are running scared of the Sussexes causing “another world of pain”.
An expert says there are concerns over the couple playing the victim in a second bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview.
And the fears could be behind the Palace's decision to withhold a report into alleged bullying of staff by Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world with their revelations they shared with the iconic US host in March 2021.
During the two hour tell-all interview Meghan claimed there were “concerns” over the colour of their son Archie’s skin, adding she had suicidal thoughts during her time in the UK.
Attitudes have since cooled with the couple returning to the UK earlier last month for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Harry and Meghan met privately with the monarch so she could meet granddaughter Lilibet.
However behind the scenes royal aides are concerned the California-based couple could return for a damaging second interview.
