Royal Mint releases Cluedo-themed collectable 50p coins

  • The Royal Mint has partnered with toy firm Hasbro to launch a new series of collectable 50p coins inspired by the classic board game Cluedo.
  • Members of the public are invited to enter a free online competition to solve the case of the missing coin for a chance to win a gold version valued at over £2,000.
  • Weekly clues will be published on The Royal Mint’s website and social media channels to help participants identify the suspect, location, and coin type before entries close on 19 October.
  • The coin artwork features Miss Scarlett alongside five other classic suspects, complete with microtext listing the game's characters, rooms, and weapons.
  • The collectable coin range goes on sale on The Royal Mint’s website from 9am on Monday, with prices starting from £19.95.
