Royal Mint launches new Game of Thrones ‘ice and fire’ coins

  • The Royal Mint is launching two collectable “ice and fire” 50p coins to mark the 15-year anniversary of the fantasy drama Game of Thrones .
  • These coins, developed in collaboration with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products, are themed around the show's elemental duality of ice and fire.
  • A selection of the 50p coins will feature colour to bring the designs to life.
  • Fans can order both coins from 9am on Wednesday, with delivery expected in autumn 2026.
  • Prices for the coins start from £15 for a brilliant uncirculated coin, with a gold coin available for £2,420.
