Royal fan offers Prince William personal training and says 'pop round anytime'

Prince William got a very cheeky offer from a woman in the crowds outside Windsor Castle today - getting told to "pop round anytime". The Prince and Princess of Wales unexpectedly reunited with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the first time in years as they put aside their differences after the death of the Queen on Thursday.

The brothers got out of the same car along with their wives to go to look at the many tributes that had been left outside the gates, then had a touching exchange before heading off in different directions. All four started shaking hands and chatting to members of the public who had been patiently waiting - but William got more than he asked for with one royal fan.

The royal fan was seen leaning over the barrier as she desperately tried to get the future King's attention - and got the opportunity to shake his hand.

As Wills started greeting people behind her, the woman started explaining that she was a personal trainer, to which he seemed to reply: "Oh, really!"

Revealing she only lived nearby, she continued: "I'm round the corner. Pop round anytime."

They continued chatting for a few more seconds - and at one point the personal trainer flexed her muscles, seemingly to indicate that she could get William in shape.

As the Prince walked away, the audacious woman then hilariously made a 'call me' phone gesture with her hand.

The laugh out loud moment was spotted by a number of people who were watching on TV.

One person tweeted: "Sweet holy Christ, did a middle aged woman really just tell Prince William she was a personal trainer and he could call her anytime? Scundered for you, love."

"Did anyone else hear that woman talking to Prince William? "I only live around the corner. You can pop round anytime"," added another.

A third said: "I just witnessed a woman plug her PT business to Prince William on Live tv and that's the level of bravery I respect haha!"

Meghan also shook hands with a large number of people, including a child who was on her parent's shoulders and gave one girl a hug.

It's the first time the two couples have been seen together since the Commonwealth Day service in early 2020, which was the Sussexes final engagement after quitting the royal family.

After spending 40 minutes with the public, the two couples got into the same car with William driving them away - with Kate in the front and the Sussexes in the back.

It was William's idea for all four of them to do the walkabout together - and it happened after he issued a tearjerking tribute to his beloved grandmother following her death.

It read: "On Thursday, the world lost an extraordinary leader, whose commitment to the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth was absolute. So much will be said in the days ahead about the meaning of her historic reign.

"I, however, have lost a grandmother. And while I will grieve her loss, I also feel incredibly grateful.

"I have had the benefit of The Queen’s wisdom and reassurance into my fifth decade. My wife has had 20 years of her guidance and support. My three children have got to spend holidays with her and create memories that will last their whole lives.

"She was by my side at my happiest moments. And she was by my side during the saddest days of my life. I knew this day would come, but it will be some time before the reality of life without Grannie will truly feel real.

"I thank her for the kindness she showed my family and me. And I thank her on behalf of my generation for providing an example of service and dignity in public life that was from a different age, but always relevant to us all.

"My grandmother famously said that grief was the price we pay for love. All of the sadness we will feel in the coming weeks will be testament to the love we felt for our extraordinary Queen.

"I will honour her memory by supporting my father, The King, in every way I can."
