Royal family's website disappears after news about Queen

Queen Elizabeth II Balmoral Buckingham Palace

The royal family’s website appeared to have been taken off-line following the news of the Queen’s health concerns.

An error message appeared on screen reading: “Gateway time-out”. The Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral and her family is travelling to her side.

A Palace spokesperson said: “Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
