The monarchy have reportedly made the 'family decision' of restricting Prince Andrew's public appearance at the Garter Day celebrations today (13 June).
The Duke of York will not be seen or heard from publicly during the royal event, and will only take part in a 'behind the scenes' lunch and investiture ceremony, with his appearance believably lobbied against heavily by the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Cambridge.
The move comes following a tarnishing of Andrew's reputation through his involvement in a civil sexual assault case earlier this year.
