Royal College of Nursing warns of UK-wide strikes as early as December

THE Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has called for “detailed negotiations” on pay in the next five days or it will announce strike dates for December.

The union, which represents close to half a million nurses across the UK, recently announced its first UK-wide strike action in its 106-year history.
