Royal Ascot will welcome a band of chefs carrying 28 Michelin stars to its race this year as the likes of event chef patron Raymond Blanc, Lisa Goodwin-Allen cook to the sound of thudding hooves.
Ascot said its Chefs in Residency move this year will bring about the most stars “of any sporting event worldwide” and though this is difficult to verify, it is a lot either way.
