Roy Keane called Manchester United star Casemiro "brilliant" following Brazil's comprehensive victory over South Korea.
The Manchester United midfielder was recalled to the starting XI following Brazil's 1-0 defeat by Cameroon in the group phase of the competition. Booking their place in the last eight of the World Cup in the process, Brazil blew South Korea away, scoring four times in the opening 45 minutes.
Casemiro has made quite the impression since joining United from Real Madrid in the summer, with his name cemented as one of Erik ten Hag 's go-to men this season. Keane was quick to praise the midfielder's ability, adding how his adaption to the fast-paced style of the Premier League has been second to none thus far.

''I think he’s a brilliant player,'' began Keane, as he spoke to ITV following Brazil's victory. ''You give him credit, he turns up every week, you know what you’re going to get which is a huge compliment to a player.'
''You fall into this trap of not knowing if players are going to turn up - he does, he turns up every week. He’s six foot, won the big prizes, gone to United, settled in very well. Labelled a couple years ago unfairly that he’s a sitting midfielder, he’s far from it. He links up play, already got a goal in the World Cup, he’s brilliant but he turns up and has a great attitude.''
