Roy Keane claimed Manchester United's players can't handle the occasion after they conceded four in the first half of the Manchester derby.
Manchester City were at their free-flowing best and made light work of their local rivals to all but seal the contest in the opening 45 minutes. United came into the game after four consecutive wins as Erik ten Hag looked to be getting a tune out of his players.
But they were outclassed against a City side who began with a rarely seen centre-half pairing as Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte were left on the bench. Yet goals from Phil Foden and Erling Haaland, who both notched twice, put City firmly in control.
