Roy Keane has scored a plush pad in Ireland’s most expensive apartment development located just a stone's throw from the Aviva Stadium.
The former Ireland and Manchester United footballer purchased the luxury property in Lansdowne Place.
The development is on the 6.8-acre site where the Berkeley Court and Jurys hotels used to be in Ballsbridge.

Footie ace Keane, who is based in Cheshire, is believed to have completed the deal with his wife Theresa Doyle just before Christmas, according to The Irish Times.
Lansdowne Place, which was developed by Joe O’Reilly’s Chartered Land, boasts high-end apartments, penthouses, and duplex townhouses.
There are 215 properties that range in price from €800,000 up to more than €6 million.
The outspoken pundit, who is regularly spotted at GAA, rugby, and football games, will also have some famous neighbours.
Rod Stewart also reportedly purchased a pad in the development in 2021.
Speaking about his purchase, he told the Daily Telegraph: “If I get out on my balcony I’m going to see (rugby and football) crowds on a Saturday afternoon. The oceans and beaches, it’s gorgeous.”
Other buyers include Stephen Vernon from Green Property who spent more than €5 million on a rooftop penthouse in 2017
This set the record for an apartment in Dublin but this was later surpassed by a larger penthouse bought for €6.5 million at Lansdowne Place in 2021.
There is a number of ongoing lawsuits against the developers with some claiming that some of the properties are uninhabitable because of sweltering heat.
