Roy Keane blasts four Manchester United players vs Arsenal as Luke Shaw admits to reality check

Here are your Manchester United morning headlines on Monday, January 23.

Keane slams four players after defeat to Arsenal

Roy Keane was critical of four Manchester United players after the Reds lost to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.

Erik ten Hag's side conceded in the 90th minute as they lost 3-2 to the Gunners, with Eddie Nketiah poking home from close range in the final few minutes of the game to earn the home side an important three points. The result means that United remain in fourth position in the Premier League table.

Shaw details dressing room mood after Arsenal defeat

Luke Shaw thinks Manchester United's defeat against Arsenal was a 'reality check' for where the club actually is this season.

Talk of a title charge has quickly died down after a draw against Crystal Palace in midweek and a 3-2 defeat against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon, where Ten Hag's side conceded a 90th-minute goal to leave London empty-handed.

Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martinez got on the scoresheet for United but their goals were not enough for a draw. Eddie Nketiah, who scored a brace, produced a late matchwinner and Shaw thinks the defeat will give United a 'reality check'.
