Roy Carroll back between the posts at the age of 45

Roy Carroll Keith Gillespie Dungannon Swifts Irish Premiership Manchester United

Former Manchester United and Northern Ireland goalkeeper Roy Carroll proved age is no barrier after he was named in Ballinamallard United's starting line-up for Monday's Championship clash with Annagh United.

The 45-year-old made his debut for Harry McConkey's team on their trip to the BMG Arena.

Unfortunately for Carroll it would only turn out to be a cameo appearance as he was forced off injured in the first half with Annagh 1-0 up.
