Footage has captured a rowdy "OAP" hitting a Jet2 employee during a flight to Greece after he allegedly took her gin and tonic off her.
Airline staff were forced to divert the Manchester to Rhodes flight to Munich, Germany, on Monday so they could offload the woman to police.
The grey haired woman, who appears to be in her 70s, was reportedly irate after having her request for free champagne rejected.
She was then said to have ordered a gin and tonic which was taken away by cabin crew after she continued to be aggressive.
A video shows a male member of staff leaning over into a row of seats near the front of the plane and trying to calm the woman down.
He then attempts to restrain her arms, which are violently flailing around before sitting down in the seat next to her.
However he is forced to jump up as she attempts to lash out again and hits him across the head.
The disruptive passenger then bonks her own head on the overhead locker before hitting the man across the face twice. Another member of staff helps restrain the woman who falls back into her seat before the clip ends.
Another passenger, who wished to remain anonymous, claimed the woman also urinated in her seat before being escorted off the plane in Germany by nine police officers.
Speaking on Thursday, the passenger said: "A woman on the flight repeatedly asked the flight attendants for free champagne.
"The flight attendant told the woman that wasn't part of the service and she bought a gin and tonic in the end."
At this point, the woman reportedly began to get aggressive, which prompted the flight attendant to remove her drink.
The witness said the woman had started swearing and had violent outbursts. At one point she got up and tried to open the cabin door mid-flight before two male passengers had to hold her down when she tried to punch other people, they claimed.
"She urinated over three seats and repeatedly had bursts of violent episodes until we had to make an emergency landing in Munich," the witness said.
"Upon arrival at Munich she was escorted off the plane by around 9 police officers along with an ambulance and fire services. We were in Germany for over two hours.
"Jet2 handled this situation really well and the captain of the plane gave everyone complimentary drinks."
The passenger posted the video on TikTok last night, where it has accumulated over 25,000 views and comments from shocked viewers.
One said: "Well that's a blacklist right there. Good luck with them getting on another flight."
Another wrote: "Welcome to the no fly list."
A Jet2 spokesperson said: "We can confirm that flight LS819 from Manchester to Rhodes was diverted to Munich Airport yesterday so that a disruptive passenger could be offloaded.
"We would like to apologise to customers for this unforeseen delay and any inconvenience caused.
"The health and safety of our colleagues and customers remains our number one priority and, as a family friendly airline, we take a zero-tolerance approach to disruptive behaviour.
"We will not hesitate to vigorously pursue any costs incurred as a result of this diversion."
