A mum who died after being attacked by a dog in Rotherham has been named locally as Joanne Robinson.
Floral tributes have been left outside the victim's home in West Melton, following the tragic incident at around 10pm on Friday night.
South Yorkshire Police confirmed a 43-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.
A man, aged 42, and who is believed to have an adult son with the woman, was taken to hospital with injuries to his hands, abdomen and face.
Two dogs found at the property were seized by specialist police officers.
Neither were of a banned breed, the force said.
It's understood the pets were American Bully XLs.
A family friend confirmed the name of the victim to a YorkshireLive reporter at the scene.

Neighbour John Allerton, 69, a retired miner, told the local news outlet: “It’s really really tragic. It’s changed his life, it’s changed his family’s life."
A local man who asked not to be named said: "I've got dogs myself. This is very sad."
A female neighbour described Joanne as a "lovely lady" and a loving mum of two.
One neighbour who lives around the corner from the family said: "I'm devastated. She was a lovely lady. They are a lovely family."
Touching floral tributes have been left in red plastic cups on along the railing of the property today.
Some refer to 'Joanne', with touching messages to the family and the victim.
Neighbours and family members have been pouring into the street to pay their respects today.
South Yorkshire Police remain at the scene today with a police cordon still in place and officers standing guard.
One tribute reads: "RIP. Lots of hugs. I am going to miss you loads xx."
Another simply says: "RIP. We love you."
While a third said: "To our beautiful angel up above. You will never be forgotten, love you always."
Police said in statement: ""We were called to a property on Masefield Road in West Melton at about 10.15pm last night by a member of the public stating a dog had attacked himself and a woman.
"Officers attended with a Yorkshire Ambulance Crew and found a man, aged 42, with a potentially life-altering injury to one hand, plus injuries to his other hand, abdomen and face.
"He was transported to hospital for further treatment.
"The woman, aged 43, had been fatally bitten and despite the best efforts of emergency crews was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene."
