Belfast City Council has confirmed that the annual Rose Week festival in Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park will not take place due to 'budget constraints'.
The 2022 event was also cancelled last year as a result of the pandemic on staffing resources.
Every July, thousands of guests flock to the popular South Belfast park to enjoy the summer celebrations and admire the wide displays of roses.

With more than 45,000 roses in bloom between July and September, Lady Dixon Park is a sight to behold.
Despite hopes for the festival to return in 2023, it has not been possible but local judging will take place on trail roses once again.
A spokesperson for Belfast City Council said: "Due to budget constraints, it is unfortunately not possible to deliver the public element of our Summer Rose Fair event this year, however local judging is still taking place on the trial roses.
"Other events taking place in our parks over the summer, are our Summer Fun Days and Music in the Parks programme.
"Summer Fun Days will be held in various parks across the city on Thursdays from 20 July to 17 August. These family fun events will have a range of free activities for children aged from 5 to 12-years-old.
"Our Music in the Parks programme continues in various city parks to 30 September.
"Music in the Parks features a range of live music from modern country, folk, jazz, trad, brass band and African drumming sessions.
"The programme will run on Fridays and Sundays and will finish with a Grand Finale Concert at City Hall on Saturday 30 September."
