Rosanna Davison's Ukrainian surrogate breaks silence for first time

Beauty queen Rosanna Davison’s Ukrainian surrogate has broken her silence for the first time as she opens up being a surrogate and fleeing Kherson.

The pair have appeared for the first time together in an interview with Irish Country Magazine, out now. Speaking ahead of the publication publishing the interview, Rosanna said: “Bursting with love and gratitude for this cover with @anastasiia.berezan and very special interview.

“Thank you @irishcountrymag for giving us both the opportunity, space and compassion to tell our stories. It was a very emotional experience for both of us.”

The 38-year-old said the interview has given Anastasiia a chance to “share her unbelievable story of courage and strength escaping Kherson City in Ukraine” with her family and pet dog. In May, Anastasiia and her family fled the Ukrainian war with Rosanna and Wes looking after them after she gave birth to the couple’s first daughter Sophia in 2019.

She said: “I can’t even begin to explain the admiration and respect I have for her.” Rosanna said that Anastasiia helped her and Wes when “we needed her most” for their “much-longed baby girl”, Sophia, who was born November 2019.

Rosanna previously told us how Anastasiia’s partner found a job quite quickly after they arrived in Ireland. She said: “They’re really exploring now. They’ve been on the Luas, the dart, the bus and her partner has a job now and her little girl is in school so they are really settling in.”
