Rosanna Davison's daughter enjoys adorable playdate with Ukrainian surrogate's child

Rosanna Davison's daughter enjoyed a cute playdate with the daughter of Rosanna's Ukrainian surrogate, who has come to Ireland amid the ongoing Russian invasion of the country.

The model and influencer shared an adorable snap of the two with a caption saying Sophia was playing with her 'Ukrainian best friend'.

She said: "They only met a month ago but giggle together like old pals".

Rosanna's Ukrainian surrogate arrived in Ireland with her daughter and pet husky in April after a "long and traumatic journey".

The former Miss World and her hubby Wes Quirke had their daughter Sophia through a gestational surrogacy in Ukraine in 2019.

Rosanna offered Anastasia a "safe home" in Ireland when the war in Ukraine first broke out.

She previously said of Anastasia: "Wes and I first met this incredibly brave, kind woman in Kyiv just before she gave birth to our little girl, Sophia.

"At the time, we couldn’t even find the words to express our gratitude for giving us our much longed-for baby, so when the war began back in February, we offered her a safe home in Ireland. She gave us the greatest gift of all and now it was our turn to help her.

"It took two months to escape Kherson City in the south of Ukraine and it was a huge logistical challenge to get them from Poland to Germany and then to Ireland with their Husky too!"

In March, Rosanna told Today FM's Matt Cooper that the situation her surrogate was facing in Ukraine was "harrowing".

She said: "She [Sofia] would have been in utero in Kherson, so that's how close of a city it is for us in our family.

"This woman gave birth to our daughter, so if anything happened to her we would be distraught. She's obviously incredibly special to us and a very sweet kind person."
