Beauty queen Rosanna Davison has revealed her surrogate is sheltering in her home with her daughter as Russian troops surround the city of Kherson where she lives.
The former Miss World welcomed her first daughter Sophia via gestational surrogacy to a woman in Ukraine back in 2019.
The pair have always kept in touch – and Rosanna has opened up her home to her but says her surrogate feels she is unable to leave her home.
She told the Irish Mirror: “I spoke to her the day before yesterday, and she said things are still bad where she is. She’s still sheltering with her family and Russia has taken her city of Kherson.”

Mum-of-three Rosanna said it’s a “constant worry”.
“She feels that she’s unable to leave but she knows that she has a home to come to in Ireland if and when she can safely leave with her daughter.
“It’s a constant worry but all I can do for now is to keep on checking that she’s OK and safe.”
Their surrogate is like family to Rosanna and Wes, who feel Sophia is part Ukrainian.
They want her to share their home in Cabinteely, Dublin, where they live with Sophia and her younger twin brothers, Oscar and Hugo, who were born a year later by natural birth to Rosanna.
