While the model and daughter of singer Chris De Burgh has long been in the public eye, not much is known about her husband Wesley.

Here is everything we know about Wes Quirke and his relationship with the beautiful Rosanna.

What does Wes do?

Wes runs Dr Quirkey’s and the Carlton Casino Club in Dublin, but when he met Rosanna he was working as a model. In 2010 he quit his modelling career as he wished to step out of the limelight.

When did Rosanna first meet Wes?

Wes first met Rosanna all the way back in 2006 in the now closed Leopardstown’s Club 92.

Describing how their relationship started Rosanna said: "We met for the first time physically in Club 92.

"We had started talking on Bebo, which is a blast from the past!"

"We chatted for a few weeks. I was just out of a four-year relationship and he was six months out of a four-year relationship, so we were both single."

"About six weeks later we said we’d meet up so a gang of my girlfriends and a gang of his guy friends all met up in Club 92. It all went from there.”

When did the pair get married?

Rosanna and Wes got engaged in 2013 in Mauritius and went on to have three lavish wedding celebrations. They were going out for seven years at that stage.

Do they have any kids?

In 2019, they welcomed daughter Sophia into their lives. Sophia was born via surrogate after Rosanna suffered 14 devastating miscarriages.

In an appearance on the Late Late Show in 2020 Rosanna revealed that at one point she felt so low during their fertility struggle that she had told Wes to leave her.

Soon after Rosanna and Wes welcomed baby Sophia, they received the miracle news that Rosanna was pregnant with twin boys, Hugo and Oscar.

The model admitted to feeling that her husband has been reborn in her eyes since they welcomed their kids.

She told the Irish Mirror: “Well seeing him as a dad, it’s like a new person is born when your baby’s born, because you’re seeing you know, your partner or your husband or boyfriend through different eyes, you’re seeing them as a dad.

“And I think it’s gorgeous, and he is such a fantastic dad to them and obviously he has to go to work and run a business, but he’s there, you know, from whenever they wake up at six o’clock or 6.30 in the morning until he leaves for work. And then he comes home in the evening, he puts him to bed and plays with them.”

Who is Rosanna and Wes' surrogate?

The couple's Ukrainian surrogate Anastasia recently arrived in Dublin with her family.

Anastasia, her family and her husky all arrived safely at Dublin Airport on April 25 after a "long and traumatic" journey.

Rosanna said: "Wes and I first met this incredibly brave, kind woman in Kyiv just before she gave birth to our little girl, Sophia.

"At the time, we couldn’t even find the words to express our gratitude for giving us our much longed-for baby, so when the war began back in February, we offered her a safe home in Ireland. She gave us the greatest gift of all and now it was our turn to help her.

"It took two months to escape Kherson City in the south of Ukraine and it was a huge logistical challenge to get them from Poland to Germany and then to Ireland with their Husky too! "

Rosanna thanked the "very generous, compassionate people" including her parents who helped get Anastasia and her family to Ireland.
