Spanish singer Rosalia has said she is “feeling better” after she was forced to stop one of her shows because of food poisoning.

Videos of the 33-year old went viral after she told audiences during her Lux tour show in Milan that she was in pain and felt “extremely sick”.

The Berghain singer, born Rosalia Vila Tobella, was seen holding her stomach during the Wednesday night performance and said: “I tried to do the show (but) since the beginning I’ve been sick.

“I’ve had big time food poisoning and tried to push it to the end but I’m feeling extremely sick.

“I’m puking out there and I really want to give the best show.

“I might try and keep going but maybe at some point I might have to stop. I’m extremely sick. I’m really trying. I’m going to push on as much as I can.”

Rosalia has since updated her 28 million followers on Instagram and shared a photograph of herself in an ambulance with a thumbs up.

She said: “Feeling better. Thank you so much for all the love and understanding from everyone who was there.

“Grazie Milano.”

Rosalia rose to fame following the release of her 2022 Grammy-award winning album Motomami.

Late last year she released her fourth studio album Lux in which she sings in 13 languages including Spanish, Italian, German and Arabic.

The record jumped to number four on the UK album charts and is accompanied with a world tour with dates scheduled in London, New York, Buenos Aires and Mexico City.

It comes after the singer was named the international artist of the year at the 2026 Brit awards where she performed her single Berghain.
