Rory McIlroy finished in a tie for ninth as his bid to win the Canadian Open for the third consecutive time came up short on Sunday.
The world number three's final round included two bogeys and two birdies as he shot a 72 to finish five shots behind Nick Taylor and Tommy Fleetwood in Toronto.
Taylor became the first Canadian to win the tournament since 1954 after beating Englishman Fleetwood in a thrilling playoff finish, landing a 72-foot eagle putt on the fourth playoff hole.
