Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels is off to a sizzling start. The No. 2 overall pick and reigning Heisman Trophy winner led Washington to a primetime victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 3.
For his precise, dynamic effort, Daniels earned the NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. Not rookie of the week, but overall player. And Daniels definitely earned it.
The rookie from LSU completed 21 of his 23 passes, netting 254 yards and two touchdowns. Daniels also led the Commanders in rushing with 39 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Washington did not punt once in the Monday Night Football win.
