Ronan Keating admitted he is worried about his son Jack in Love Island noting how ‘quiet and nervous’ he has been so far on the show.
The Irish singer said he has known his son was due to enter the reality show for weeks, but has been an ‘absolute mess’ ever since he made his debut this week.
Speaking on BBC’s The One Show, he said: "I'm a mess. I'm an absolute mess."

He added: “He was very quiet, he seemed a little bit nervous which is understandable I guess.
“I hope he does okay. He's got such a big heart and he's a real softie. I worry about him in there with all those other guys.”
He added: "We miss him a lot in the house, and the kids miss him."
The Dubliner explained that Jack, 23, had been on lockdown in Spain for weeks whilst he was on standby to land as a bombshell on the hit show.
But as he finally got the call for Casa Amor, which kicked off on Sunday evening, the doting dad admitted he can’t help but worry for his son amid the madness of the show.
“He's been on the shortlist for about six weeks now.
“We've known he could have been going in. It was a week before the announcement and he said 'I'm flying to Spain tomorrow.’”
"He's been in Spain for a couple of weeks in lockdown, and we haven't heard from him and haven't been able to talk to him. They take their phones.
“So it's been silent and then he appeared on the TV last night."
Asked if he tried to talk him out of signing up to join the reality TV series, the dad-of-five admitted: “Come on, the kids today they don't listen.”
But he said he imparted some words of wisdom to his eldest son before he flew off for the dating show.
“I said 'be yourself and have a good time.'
"People go in with plans and ideas. But the bottom line is to be you. I hope people will see that and warm to him.
"He's my boy, I want to look after him.”
The former Boyzone star, who is currently on a solo tour in the UK, also poked fun at his son’s comments about his career during a chat with Gemma Owen about their famous fathers.
The busy singer and presenter said: “He did drop the line that I was retired.”
“I fell off my chair. I'm doing The One Show next week. I'm in York tonight. I'm definitely not retired.”
It comes after Ronan's ex-wife and Jack's mum Yvonne Connolly clapped back at jibes aimed towards her son.
Some users on social media mocked the newcomer and claimed he only bagged a place in the villa because of his famous dad, while others took aim at his "pale Irish skin" and ginger hair.
Speaking ahead of Monday’s show, Yvonne said: "After the teaser I’m looking forward to watching Jack tonight on Love Island.
"Thank you so much for all your comments. All positive (can’t say the same for other platforms).
“So many people wishing Jack well and rooting for him. It means so much. My heart”.
