It might only be pre-season, but Manchester United fans are already getting very excited for the campaign that lies ahead under Erik ten Hag.
The Dutchman began his reign as United manager with a friendly match against Liverpool on Tuesday, and it didn't take long before his side caught the eye with their open attacking approach to the game.
United and Liverpool were pretty evenly matched in the opening moments of the match before Jadon Sancho fired into the far corner of the net to give Ten Hag's side an early lead.

Then, in the space of three first-half minutes, United netted twice more as Fred chipped Alisson from outside of the box, before Anthony Martial raced through on goal and lifted the ball over the Liverpool goalkeeper.
The exquisite finish saw Martial equal his tally of just one goal from last season and capped a fine first-half performance in which he pressed the Liverpool defence and caused a constant nuisance with his movement.
Martial's display had supporters on the edge of their seats throughout the first half, and his fantastic finish led to a few tongue-in-cheek predictions ahead of the new season, as well as some sincere statements about what he could offer the side.
United were open to selling Martial this summer, but amid continued uncertainty regarding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, it seems likely he will be given the chance to prove his worth.
