Romeo Beckham has begun training with Brentford B as he continues his path into professional football.
The 20-year-old son of former England captain David was on Arsenal's books as a teenager before leaving to pursue a potential career in tennis. He returned to football in 2020, though, and has been playing across the Atlantic for Inter Miami II, scoring an impressive free-kick for the Florida-based team over the summer.
He has yet to make a Major League Soccer debut for Inter Miami's first team, where his father is a co-owner and former Manchester United and England defender Phil Neville is manager. It's still early in his career, though, and his first taste of English football comes with a club who have a reputation for bringing through players from a range of backgrounds.
According to The Times, the youngster has been training with Brentford B this week after the end of Inter Miami II's domestic season. However, there is no indication of how long he will be in west London.
Brentford closed their academy at the end of the 2015-16 season (it has since been reopened), instead deciding to operate with a B Team system. The team has played matches against opponents from the UK and overseas, and won last season's London Senior Cup.
A number of Brentford B players have gone on to make first-team appearances with the Bees or elsewhere. These include Wales under-21 international Fin Stevens and teenage forward Nathan Young-Coombes, both of whom made Premier League debuts last season.

Beckham mostly plays on the right wing for Inter Miami II, the same position his father occupied for most of his career. He made 20 appearances in the MLS Next Pro league in 2022, scoring two goals and adding 10 assists.
"First full season was full of ups and downs," he wrote on Instagram at the end of the domestic season. "Not the ending we as a team wanted but only lessons learned to take into next year. Love this team and the journey we are on."
Inter Miami II finished sixth in the eastern conference, just four points shy of a spot in the post-season play-offs, with Phil Neville's son Harvey also featuring for the second string. Miami's first team have been more impressive, though, booking their spot in the MLS play-offs with a game to spare.
"I'd say that we're the most in-form team in the league," Phil Neville said ahead of the final game of the regular season. "Four wins out of four, I think.
"We've overcome big obstacles. We've overcome so much this year; people writing us off, questioning us, doubts from outside, and the players have just kept going. They're on the brink of something really special. I think we're nearly there."
