Romeo Beckham and Mia Regan have reportedly split after three years as a couple.
The footballer and model, both 19, celebrated their three-year anniversary in May by getting matching tattoos.
They are also believed to have discussed marriage after attending Beckham’s older brother Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding to Nicola Peltz earlier this year.
However, concerned fans noticed the son of David and Victoria Beckham had deleted all traces of his girlfriend from his Instagram account earlier this week.
Regan meanwhile had not posted anything about her boyfriend for more than two months.
Now it has been claimed their busy schedules as well as the pressures of being in a long-distance relationship with Beckham being based in the US and Regan in the UK led to their break up.
But it has been reported the split was “amicable” and that Victoria Beckham intended to continue working with the model in the future.
A source told the MailOnline: “Essentially the long-distance relationship at their young ages took its toll. Romeo and Mia are both lovely young people, they’re very fond each other and the family love Mia.
“She’s continuing to collaborate with Victoria Beckham through her work, but sadly Romeo and Mia aren’t together anymore.”
Neither teenager has addressed the break up but Beckham has continued to post on social media as normal.
On Monday, he uploaded a picture of him in his Inter Miami gear having just scored his first goal for the team.
“Feels great to get a win on the road and a goal +3 babbyyyyyy,” he captioned the picture after they beat opponents Orlando City 3-0.
The Standard has contacted representatives for Romeo Beckham and Mia Regan for comment.
