BERLIN - Romania is holding a suspected “low-level agent” accused of preparing attacks, following the discovery of handguns and ammunition in a forest near Berlin, Germany’s interior minister said Friday.
Germany has faced a surge in attack plots, sabotage and espionage cases, with suspicion often falling on Russia due to Germany’s support for Ukraine in its fight against Russia’s invasion.
