Roma are planning to be busy in this summer’s transfer market as they attempt to keep Jose Mourinho out of Paris Saint Germain ’s clutches.
The Portuguese coach has enjoyed huge success during his spell at the Stadio Olimpico so far. He led the Italian giants to the Europa Conference League title last term and became the first manager to win all three European titles in the process.
Mourinho could follow that up with the Europa League after his side booked their place in this season’s final against habitual winners Sevilla. His impact in Rome has been noticed elsewhere with Paris Saint Germain interested in swooping for his services.
Current PSG boss Christophe Galtier could be sacked over the next few weeks following an underwhelming season in which the French side have struggled in the Champions League, albeit securing the Ligue 1 crown with ease. Roma will attempt to keep Mourinho though as they eye a summer splurge.
According to CalcioMercato, the Giallorossi are planning a double swoop for Lyon star Houssem Aouar and Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka. The former has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League - Arsenal once rumoured to be considering a swoop.
Aouar has failed to hit the heights of previous campaigns with just one goal in 17 appearances but he is out of contract at the end of the season so could be set for a bargain move. The same could certainly be said of his countryman N’Dicka.

The defender sees his contract expire in the summer and looks primed for a move following his impressive outings in the Bundesliga over the past few years. Roma will certainly hope their business convinces Mourinho to stay - particularly if they manage to qualify for the Champions League.
The 60-year-old has a year remaining on his deal in the Italian capital amid interest from PSG. He was probed about his future with the club last month and underlined his affection for Roma.
"I'm happy here at Roma,” Mourinho said. “I love the people, and they like me. Sometimes I'm frustrated, but I'm sure there's room for improvement here.”
In his time at the Olimpico, Mourinho has overseen 106 matches, winning just over half of those with 54. With three matches of the Serie A season to be played, Roma sit sixth in the standings and have an outside chance of finishing in the top four.
They will however book themselves an automatic spot in next season’s Champions League should they beat Sevilla in the Europa League final. That game will take place at the Puskas Arena in Budapest at the end of the month.
