The owner of a high street jewellers told how he tackled two masked Rolex robbers caught on CCTV using a chainsaw and machete to smash their way in.

Charles Pringle, 66, chased the helmet-clad men off with a baton while other bystanders tried to hurl a sandwich board and objects at them in Hertfordshire.
